Jessie Eaton is a fine artist and graphic designer currently based in Oakville, Ontario. In 2018, Eaton graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto, where she received her BFA in Drawing and Painting. She developed the majority of her watercolour architecture pieces while living in Italy as a part of OCAD University’s Florence Off-Campus Studies Program in 2016-17. Her work shifted from exploring memory and value in constructed spaces, to memory loss and nostalgia, as depicted in her graduating thesis work of cyanotype prints. Most recently she has honed her oil painting skills, in efforts to counter the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic with bright colours and symbols of life and fullness.
